Just like our cats, Halle loves to stuff herself into little tiny spaces. We had to fish her out from underneath the exersaucer today to get me to work. A couple of her favorite Halle-sized nooks: Yesterday I found a big, crowning jewel in "the garden" (previously known as The Back Yard). It's a Blue Siberian Iris and it sits in the corner of the yard right next to the fence. It absolutely took my breath away! My love for gardening and the outdoors is renewed every spring for this very reason: something as simple as an unexpected Iris can really make my day. And I have two more delicate blooms to look forward to!
Our dangerously cute but beautifully reckless toddler who may or may not resent this blog as a teenager. She lives and breathes for the park, but the moon and airplanes take her breath away.
A master of the guitar, air drums, and patience; keeping us alive with music and sillyness. You can find him making sound effects at the center of giggling crowds of kids.
A devout liberal with messy, hippy tendencies and affection for both the internet and astronomy. She loves to write and secretly wishes she were "girlier".
